What a Daily Funded Session Actually Is

One trading day on funded capital, no evaluation, one rule, paid the same day. What you get, what it costs, and how a session really works on The Desk.

6 MIN READ · THE DESK ACADEMY

A Daily Funded Session is one trading day on real funded capital, with no evaluation to pass first. You choose a $10,000, $25,000 or $50,000 account, the session opens, and for the next 24 hours you trade it as your own. Finish the day profitable and a share of that profit is paid to your Wallet the same day. There is no multi-week challenge, no profit target to chase, and no minimum number of trading days. One day, one result.

That structure exists because it matches how day trading actually works. The natural unit of a day trader's performance is a single session, not a month. The Desk simply makes the session the whole product: you are funded for the day, judged on the day, and paid on the day.

What you get, and what it costs

You pay an entry fee once, up front, and nothing else. There is no monthly subscription and no hidden activation cost. In return you trade a funded account of the size you chose for a full 24-hour window, across forex, indices, gold and metals, oil and crypto. If the day goes against you, the session simply ends. There is nothing extra to pay and nothing owed. The entry fee was the whole risk.

The single rule

A session carries exactly one hard rule: stay above the 7% maximum drawdown line. Cross it and the session ends. That is the only way to fail a day. There is no consistency rule, no maximum lot size, no ban on trading the news, no list of forbidden instruments. Inside the 7% line you trade how you want. The next lesson covers exactly how that line is measured, because misunderstanding it is the most common way a good day ends early.

How you get paid

Finish the session in profit and you keep a share of it, deposited to your Wallet automatically when the day settles, withdrawable from $50. The share is not a flat split. It is set by the Daily Profit Score, which grades how the profit was made. A clean, controlled winning day earns a much larger share than a reckless one with the same dollar profit, up to 95%. The rest of this chapter is about that score, because on The Desk the quality of your trading is not a nice-to-have. It is literally what you get paid for.

Knowledge pays better with capital behind it.
